I use the poly all the time and love it. I love the soft feel of the quilt and I don't need heavy quilts with our mild winters.

I agree with Suz. I have used WalMart batting a lot.

I love the Pellon Nature's Touch 100 % cotton, stock up when I find it on sale.

When we have some extra to spend, I am going to try a bolt of the Walmart batting. My quilts are all for family or give away, so they don't mind if the batting is not premium. My quilts get drug around the house, to picnics, camping, in the car, etc. They are loved to pieces. LOL!!

I am on my second roll of the pollen from Joann's. I like it a lot. it was on sale for 79 dollars and 90 wide 20 or 30 yds.

It is the only batting I use for quilts. It is economical and well made; I have found no thin spots. I buy it at Walmart online and have it shipped to the store or if they are running a shipping special, right to my house.
