    Thank you for sharing that! Isn't that why we all make quilts, to love and enjoy? When a quilt has become unusable, it is always a little sad. But knowing it was loved is comforting.

    My first quilt was horrible, ugly, left over fabric from my aunts. They gave me an easy beginner pattern and I made a quilt. My aunts told me quilts are like dogs. They come in all sizes, some cute ones and some ugly ones. Eventually they all get good homes. To this day I still remember this when I'm not happy with my quilts, someone will love them.
