    I saw the quilt, the quiltmaker and her "diagram". She was showing everyone the paper pattern that worked from! Amazing!

    Diane, it is an original pattern she drew up on paper. She had the original draft there and was showing it. Maybe she'll release it as a published pattern someday, but for now, it is not available.

    Quickstitch, much of it was paperpieced: the mariner's star points and the red and blue interlocking "V" shapes were, I remember.

    I am sitting here in total awe. I cannot imagine that being made out of fabric. That is just beautiful.
