I am also thinking this would be a great gift for a baby shower...they can use it for the floor when little, Then place on their big boy/girl bed.

I haven't made one yet, but think I will be working on one this year.

Nah!! C'mon ladies! You can do it! I see the pattern plus one is already out of stock. Let's be brave - I'd love to do it too!
 :XD: Can even make it smaller as a tablerunner!

Need something a bit easier. I have one UFO that one of these days I will finish. I think I lose interest when they are harder. I am still pretty new to this. Not even a year yet... I would like to do a sampler one. that would be fun.

I've been planning on making one for my own bed. My feet are always cold. Since I now sleep alone, except for 2 cats who insist on taking turns sleeping under the covers with me, I either wear a heavy pair of socks or double over a light quilt over my feet. This would be a much nicer way of keeping my feet warm.
And with this a smaller quilt, I think I'd make it in complementary but stronger colors than the blue crazy quilt I'm in the midst of saving pieces for. I suddenly realized that I can even put in double the batting and tie it, since no quilt police are allowed in my house.

I have some drunkards path blocks that I made and never used in anything. Do you think these would make an okay bed runner? I was going to make a table runner but a bed runner would be great to.

a few years ago saw one on a bed in the hotel I was staying in. came home and made one (sans pattern) for my bed. adds a bit of decor to the room and a little extra warmth for the feet in the winter. sorry no camera at the moment so no pics.

I have a Cathedral windows which started out to be a quilt, but has become a bed runner. I ran out of patience!

Love the look of a bedrunner, but haven't seen any except in a catalog.
