I agree. I don't think this one needs sashing. Welcome to the board!

I agree with the "mix 'em up" folks....Somebody used the word CONFETTI and that's what the blocks remind me of....so just mix them up well and have fun with the arrangement!

Welcome to the board. I made a quilt similar to yours and I didn't put sashing in it and now I wish I had. (I think. lol). Here's mine.

before committing to either of your photos, I'd love to see them more mixed up!! And sashing really makes colors 'pop' - have fun with it!

Wow, good memory, that really IS similar! :-) It's really cute, too...

Ha! it's like you know me... ;) I'm going to try a few more layouts and try NOT to stall...

Welcome from Northern CA. Thanks for the post I just watched the video and really like the idea of a column quilt. Like I need another idea for a quilt. On your quilt I think that a small sashing would be nice. Like what you have done. I know that what you come up with will be even better. Be sure to show us when you are finished. BrendaK

I like #1 the best except that I would move the dark brown to where the white is to balance it out. Move the white to where the tan stripes are and move the tan to where the dark brown was. I think it would look more balanced. I also like the idea of adding another green row at the bottom if you have enough.
