    I get the digest version and haven't read thru all 4 pages of comments, so I apologize if this has been mentioned:

    I like the second version alot, but I think the last two columns are reversed - if you go across the first row (starting with red and go left to right), it goes dark, light, dark, light, etc until you get to the white (which should be blue to keep the dark, light thing going).

    Otherwise - lots of movement and cute design! Keep going.

    Just my 2-cents-worth: I love the checkerboard look with the center squares in different positions!! No need for sashing! Just sew them together and enjoy! Good job. And welcome to the board.

    Sorry - I LIKE THEM BOTH! - I like the wonky way you have them shown, which wold mean you need to add a wonky border ( like the white backround ) and and then put it all together so the blocks are still wonky.... Fun quilt how ever you do it, and I can't wait to see how it ends up.
