I took a break during Christmas. I was working on table runners for Christmas presents and finally had to take a step back and realize I had bit off more that I could chew so to speak so since I used by dining room table to sew on, I cleaned everything up and put it all away in my DDs room (she's in college) After Christmas my BIL passed away suddenly so it took awhile to get back in the swing of things. I set up a long folding table in DDs room and I have my sewing machine and serger all set up just waiting for me. There's a Shop Hop this weekend too so that should also be really inspirational.
Thank you all for doing such great work and inspiring the rest of us.

Sherry, I am so sorry for your loss. Be kind to yourself and take the time you need to heal.

I am also good at biting off more than I can chew. My resolution this year is to make no commitment to anything that has a deadline on it. I just don't like the pressure anymore. I guess I had enough of that during my working years.

    Peace be with you,
    Rose

I'm so sorry about your BIL. So sad. It's good to hear you are sewing again.
