Hi Floafab, I have the bendable light I LOVE IT !!!!!! I bought mine at a quilt shop, sorry I don't remember what the price was It is just great you can zero in on your sewing. Mine attaches to the machine but is removable, it needs a receptacle. I leave mine on the machine all the time even when I take the machine with me. It goes on the side of my machine. Dear Sewcrafty, I have the bendable light as I wrote to Flora Fab. The light I have is not magnetic. It adheres like the closet hooks. I do have a magnetic scissors holder on my Husqvarna (comput) and have for years, never had a problem. Take care, peterparley
