I bought mine in Paducah last week. So it is new for me, but so far I like it as it does shine where you put it (right on the fabric).

ok my question is does your light stay 'steady' when you sew
the one I purchased and no longer use giggles and moves when I sew (withe the motion of the machine) and drove me nuts. Are the 'better' one heavier so they stay steady or what.....I really would also like one....but kinda thought they were all the same.

I love my bendible light, i have it on several machines. I have one light but ordered extra mounting kits, so that i can use it on several machines.

I don't have one that attaches to the machine, but have used bendable floor lamps before and absolutely LOVE them. So handy and easily portable.

I posted earlier that I have the bendable one that has been shown in several of the links provided here. While the light is good, sometimes it's too strong/bright and is beyond what is good for my eyes.

I do use it at times ... and to answer questions, I do not find it moves around while I sew. Stays put wherever I line it up. That is, til I knock it out of the way as I move fabric around! OOPS!!

Wondering ... what about the small book lights?
Have never had one, but just getting a little creative thinking here.
    Anyone use one?
