Look what I found at Ikea! It's ideal for giving me extra light by my sewing machine. Cost 10 pounds in the UK. And they also had a wonderful new range of pretty cotton fabrics - florals and polka dots in lovely colours, 150cm wide (about 60in) at 5 pounds a metre.

Our guild bought several of these cute lights then sold them for a fundraiser.

What a cute littly bendy light. Nice find. I didn't know Ikea had fabric.

They also do a floor standing model, if you don't have much room on your worktable.

They've always done fairly thick, plain cottons, some of which worked as quilt backings, though some were too heavy. This new range is more like the usual quilt fabric weight and has pretty patterns too. (I'm in the UK - don't know if Ikea has the same range in the States).
