Benn awhile now I am back with a vengence!
I have been lurking for a very long time, now it is time to start posting again. I haven't been here because I have been quilting, sorting my stash and trying to get my mid-arm to work properly. This morning is just a good time to catch up and get started again.
Since I have last posted I have made several quilts. Baby quilts, queen size bed quilts and and have several in the process that must be completed before I start to many other projects. I have several baby quilts that are a charity project for the guild I just joined. I also have a queen size quilt finished for a graduation gift (for tomorrow). I still have to put the label on it. I have another graduation quilt that has presented some challenges that in another post some of you here may be able to help me with. Then I have made several other baby quilts as gifts. My family just seems to be growing leaps and bounds these day. More and more grand babies and nephews and nieces!
The guild I recently joined is fulfilling my quilting dreams these day. Just meeting with and sharing with these men and women is the greatest!!
My mid-arm is now in the shop for repair. Because of the memorial day holiday it will be away from home for longer than I would like. Most of my current projects are on hold until it comes home. It is hard to believe the void it has left on an empty frame. Soon enough it will be back repaired and ready to go.
Now onto reading what else is here of interest.

Welcome back from Southwest Michigan! I know exactly where Waterford is. In another life/career I was a teacher trainer and spent several days in Waterford. Sounds like you may want to join the Quilt Board UFO group. They are good for encouragement to get those projects off the shelf, under the needle and out the door.

Congratulations on your growing family...and I’m happy you have found a active quilt guild. I enjoy sewing with others...I often get encouragement and ideas. I’m sure you will also find plenty of that here on the QB too. Welcome back.
