    The nice thing about knowing both techniques is ... with one you have to have a certain amount of like-minded fabrics, so to speak.
    with the other one, you know how to use up scraps.

    i am so sorry about your BIL, I would suggest something bright and simple, otherwise you will be concentrating on it and not him. I do hope all goes well with you all!

    Yes, there is a pattern by Tracey Brookshier that came out years ago and has been updated and reissued. This one of those places where the whole "copyright" thing gets me so confused and weary. I have seen this pattern done in free tutorials and posts... and frankly, I don't see anything wrong with that....

    I like the bento box pattern. It looks like fun! The bright colors are very cheery.

    I was thinking...Why do you have to have your paw on the quilt? My dog does the same thing..you tell her not to come in the kitchen and she sits right there in the living room w/ 1 paw touching the kitchen floor...LOL They are just to funny. Beautiful quilt by the way.
