Default Bernina 770 QEE Sewing Machine

Am looking at the Bernina 770QEE and wondering if any of you quilters have this machine? What are your thoughts or experiences with one.
Would appreciate any info you would like to share.

Denise, I bought my Bernina 780 in July, 2013 and they're almost the identical machine. I can tell you, it's an absolute dream to sew on. Extremely user friendly . . .love the M class size bobbin that lasts and lasts, stitch speed and consistently beautiful stitches. I rarely use the embroidery features, however.

The 770 is the machine they worked the bugs out of, then turned it into a 790. I wouldn't get it because it was discontinued, because it still has the bugs in it. If you do get one of these big Berninas, make sure your dealer has gone to the 7 Series training in Chicago. Or it will go back to Bernina for repairs.

The BERNINA 770 QE has not been discontinued. It's a brand-new machine, part of BERNINA's next generation 7 Series introduced in spring, which also includes the B 790 and B 740. The B 770 QE is a sewing and quilting machine with an optional embroidery module. Its features include a 4.3-inch high-resolution color touch screen, an updated user interface, a programmable foot control and the BERNINA Stitch Regulator (BSR), plus the new BERNINA Hook System with 9 mm width and up to 1,000 stitches per minute. You can read more about it at the following link: http://www.bernina.com/en-US/Product...BERNINA-770-QE.

All I can say is that Bernina has been making a mess when number new sewing machines. I have an old Bernina 1530 and I just love it. Won't trade it for any of the new gadgets on new machines. it was made in Switzerland.
