Anything's possible. I just got a message from someone on twitter who said that the same people who own Whole Foods just bought JoAnns out. I didn't really believe it until I checked out an announcement in the Wall Street Journal.
It will be interesting to see if our local store improves. For now, I'd prefer to shop online at other shops.

I recently ordered some fabric from EleanorBurns.com. One of the fabrics was wrong, and when I contacted them, they were so nice. They said they were sorry to get even one fabric wrong, and said they'd send out the correct fabric right away. The other piece I could keep or give away. I was very impressed. Very good service, I thought. I'll be shopping there again.

My quilter has had several contacts with Eleanor Burns organization and said they are very friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. This friend is confusing and often confused and difficult to work with so this is a high compliment.
