I have been married 40 years, and sewing for 50. I started quilting 35 years ago, but never was able to commit the time and space until I retired 1.5 years ago. Since I retired I have added to my stash and found the --need -- for more rulers, templates, cutting mats, thread and more thread, a new quilting frame with short arm machine, another iron, a mini iron, several books/magazines, 1 new sewing machine/2 used ones, supply of heatnbond, and miscellaneous notions. There is no one thing I collect more, just a balance of it all. I do need more sissors. -- When I'm not in the mood to sew, I do woodworking and it is tools and wood I collect.
