    Her daughter in law was complimenting the quilt to me and I did request a photo of it. So, if she comes through for me, I will indeed post it here. Thanks for all your nice replies.

    Often it is hard for me to tell if people like/appreciate my quilting; in this case, it is obvious that they loved your quilt. What a compliment to display it in such fashion.

    You are being too hard on yourself, I am sure it was beautiful quilting on it.
    That was a lovely story, also. Thanks so much for sharing. So often the real beauty of a quilt is the story behind it.
