Best Press
#11
I like to sew with heavily starched fabric. Recently, I have mixed 2/3 Sta-Flo to 1/3 water. That gives me the finish I want; but some crease lines do not come out well. A spray of Best Press gets any crease lines out easily. I buy Best Press by the gallon for removing those stubborn creases. I am glad you found the unscented version.

I make my own using the recipe I found on QB. It works great. I doubled the strength.
4 ounces vodka (I used citrus flavored for the scent)
2 cups distilled water
I put it in a spray bottle & that's how easy it is. Vodka is made from potatoes which are a heavy starch. If you have asthma you can just use plain vodka & the cheaper the better.

I use best press all the time, its wonderful, I love the different scents tho, just purchased the peach but really love the lavender. I buy the gallon jug when it goes on sale at joannes and fill my small spray bottles from there. It saves a lot of money

And I found out the starch is removed in the process of making the vodka.
I love the new Flatter spray. It does not leave one flake or stain. It's perfect for dark color fabric or batiks. For regular starch I use Oxford and Wells spray starch. It's the best starch I've ever used.
