Best Thread to use for Quilting?
#11
Many Joann's carry Sulky Blendables and they are good but a little heavier than normal.
Some of the larger Joann's have Superior threads (maker of King Tut) and they are also good but harder to find.
Joann's has a lot more thread on line including King Tut.

I am another King Tut fan, pricey but worth the money to me and I don't use anything else for machine piecing and quilting. You wouldn't go wrong with any of the Superior Threads, Bob the owner is very picky and only sells the best.

Take a look around their site and you will find wonderful information for threads, proper needles size and much more.
I use the Gutermann hand quilting thread but have had it for many years and I've heard the quality isn't the same anymore...but I could be wrong. This thread is somewhat waxed and cannot be used in your machine.
