Has anyone used a bias tape machine for binding. I HATE pressing bias tape because it never comes out straight and I saw this the other day and was wondering if it was worth it.

I won it..I don't like it. It gets stuck with any bulky areas...so mine sits in a drawer. I thought it was a fabulous idea when I bought it.
Another quilter friend of mine has it and she still uses hers but says she has to pull it all through by hand because it don't like the bulky areas on hers either.

I have one and I use it all the time. If your seams are pressed flat and at and angle, it works better. I sit with it while it runs and now and then I guide the fabric out. It works for me.

If you search the board, you will see several positive reviews of this machine.

I use it and like it, but I don't think it is worth the $80 or $90 it sells for. If you can buy it on sale, I say go for it.

I saw a demo at the LQS. It worked well for her and she did press her seams open on the diagonal. I could never afford it, but it looked intersting.

I wondered about this myself. I keep scorching my fingers. I got one of those finger things that are supposed to keep that from happening. It works ok, but I have a hard time keeping it on my finger!

I Still like my inexpensive Clover BIas tape makers the best. They come in several sizes. They accomplish the same thing for alot less money.

I have it and love it. Sometimes you need to give the fabric a little tug to help it along.
