    Default Big Dots

I have a lot of fabric that just has big dots on it. I have it in all colors. Does anyone have any cute quilt ideas for Big Dots? These dots are about 2 inches around. Maybe someone has seen a special way to cut the fabric that will give it a whole new dimention. I'm begging for ideas. Please post your dot quilts here! Or any directions for cutting. Thanks!!

That's a hard one. If you cut the circles you might be able to work out some cute designs in either the OBW or Dresden Plate kaleidoscope blocks. You could center a dot in PP hexagon pieces. You might be able to use the wedge rulers for a Spicy Spital table runner. You could work out a message in Morris Code?

I have no experience with big dots but it seems like with big prints it would be big blocks that would show them off best. I hope you post your pic after you get this one finished.

There are a few quilts on Google Images that might inspire your creativity.

What about something like the quilt shown here? I can see the center five inch squares and the strips around the white as being in dotted fabric. I know she uses precuts, but I am making this right now without those....just cut my own, and I am concentrating on blue or purples. I think it might be very interesting in dots.

Here is a picture of where my quilt is at the moment...in case that helps.

I love dots! One of my favorite quilts is a bowtie on white. I made all the bowties different colors.

I love this idea I was able to picture it immediately, and I liked it! I just don't know how well 2 inch dots would translate though.

How about a d9p starting with 5inch or larger blocks? It would be busy but fun.

if you are a glutton for punishment, you could cut each dot into quarters, re-sew them back together into miniature drunkard's path designs. It would be simple piecing, just tiny.

I was thinking like clevermom, making it into a drukards path if the dots are big enough
