Big Foot Help please
Has anyone successfully used a Big Foot free motion foot on a feather weight? The kind lady at the store where they are made has sent me two and tried to talk me through it to see why it won't work. It attaches okay but the bobbin thread won't come up and so I only get needle holes. I have changed needles, rethreaded numerous times but no luck. I have seen the Big Foot doing free motion on You-Tube and set my machine up the same way...no go! When I put the regular foot back on, it sews fine.
Any help will be appreciated. I can't say enough for the "Little Foot" Quilt Store where the Big Foot came from. They were amazing.

I purchased a 1/4 inch foot for my featherweight and all I got was skipped stitches. Put the original foot on, stitched fine. I think it has something to do with the narrow opening in the original foot and the single hole plate. If you can figure out a way to get a small needle hole in your Big Foot, it might help?

Thanks Tartan, but I even tried using a slippery sheet with just a tiny hole for the needle to go through, on the bed. Hopefully someone will have another suggestion.
