The ones at our Big Lots are exactly the same as the ones at Walmart and Joann's. The tags and prints are exactly the same.

I have found some are nice, some are ok, and others are not so good.

Thanks for the review, Debbie. :) And for reminding me to stop at Big Lots soon.

Our Big Lots is right next to the closest Hancock Fabrics so it's a no-brainer. I haven't seen the FQ's tho so I'll have to go searching. Long ago they used to sell 3 yd flat cuts for a reasonable price. I bet I still have a couple floating around the stash some where. I also love Tues Am and have been picking up the F & P notions for the swaps-make great tuck ins! I wanted the F & P seam ripper after someone here raved aboout it and they were all gone by the time I decided I needed one. :x

I didn't know that Big Lots sold fabric. Where is it located? Near the household goods? I will be sure to check them out. Thanks for the tip.

Our Tuesday Morning is an absolute pig pen, stuff all over the floors and dust bunnies mixed in with who-knows-what. I won't shop there, but I'm headed to Big Lots at daylight.

I guess they were suggesting you might need a plastic container to store them in.

I bought 2 fq's from them. They felt wonderful.
I brought them home, took off tags, put two Moda fq's in with them and washed them together. All four came out nicely, If I did not know the fabrics myself, I don't think I could have told the difference. With the cost of fabrics rising for now, I figured, cost is important now too. The next test is to use them with other fabric I have and then see again. Maybe I should have been a fabric tester in my real life. ROFL. HUGS

I know there have been posts on here so don't tell me to go read, I wanted to share what I discovered. I always look at them when I go to Big Lots and don't buy. Never sure. Well now I am and the next trip I will buy more. They usually only have maybe around 50 or so. I love the colors too.

So , to each his own. Just wanted to throw in my two cents worth. Inquiring minds need to know. LOL. Now I do.

Hope this thread stays positive too.

Debbie, I too purchased a few fats from Big Lots which felt lovely....haven't used them yet as they are patterns outside my comfort zone but thank you for your post and am looking forward to your future opinions about them.

I'm going to have to check this out. I don't go to our Big Lots much but I have never seen fat quarters there. With the cost of things going up and up it would be great to get a break somewhere.
