    Thank you, Tartan. I am just finishing sewing on my binding and tried this--it was perfect. Before this, I used a video and always had to fast forward and pause along the way. I was looking for EXACTLY something like this. Saved me about 15 minutes.

    A hint for this very good tutorial! When you are putting one end over the other to sew the seam, I find that taking a large tuck in the quilt gives a lot more "room" to cross over and sew the ends.
