    HELP I am making pot holders and have curves. cant seem to get binding right no matter what i do. Advice please......

    did you cut your binding on the bias? that will make it lay so much better.

    Yep, cut on the bias and pin well.

    You can also use elmers glue (or Alene's glue) to hold it in place before you stitch it. Just apply a small amt of glue, and position, then iron it down. It will wash out, but elmers will make it a little stiff until you wash it.

    If you look through the tutorial section, I believe there is a tute for curved binding :D:D:D

    Great tips already given...AND award-winning quilter Sharon Schamber has a FREE video online that is about Curved Binding. Perhaps that could help if you'd like to watch one done:

    Also, did you use single fold bias binding???

    it would be helpful to know the shape and what kind of binding you used - prepared or cut your own and the width you cut.
