this is the way I do mine, easy peasy
one thing I do, is put a pin where I am going to sew to check that I have it layered correctly. Sometimes on end gets twisted so I like to double check (same as measure twice, cut once)

Wow, I had seen this a while back and didn't hang on to the actual measurements. I've copied it in to a Word doc and now it is mine forever!! Thanks, Rachel

I tried this method, and it is so easy....it is the easiest method I have come across yet!!!! I put on 4 bindings for the NICU quilts in such a short time. Thanks Rachel for sharing this with us!

You are both welcome!! I was so happy I found that tutorial because it made ending the binding correctly so much easier. I used to end it with a straight seam, which made it lumpy and obvious where it ended. This is so much better!

    Cheers!

This is how I have started doing mine, and it is so easy. Makes me wonder why it took so long for me to try it.

Thanks to the video found on this thread, I have been able to whip through binding on 5 blocks, at about 30 minutes each to machine stitch both sides. The mitered corners look great, and it really is easy to do. Only 7 more to go! Thanks again for taking time to find and post this information
