I'm looking for ideas for a (fairly quick) gift for my 31yr son. I've knitted mittens and hat but would like to do something else - for Christmas (already!) I'm going to make large cushions with an Australian theme for him and his Ozzie wife but would like to make a personal gift for Pete (I don't think he would wear a waistcoat!).

I made my husband a lap quilt that was the american flag. Maybe you can design a flag lap quilt that work for both of them. Hope that helps
