    Can anyone recommend a good pattern for a 50th birthday quilt for a woman?

    Wow, just open a book and point. I would love any quilt someone gave me. Just pick one you like, and it will be perfect!

    I think almost anything too...in her favorite colors, or a special fabric she might really love....is she a pet person? Gardener, nurse, gosh, they have fabric for almost any hobbie, sport, job! Good luck!

    Ok, I'll come up with something. The attached pic is a wall-hanging I made for a co-worker last year.
