    Default A Birthday

We are cleaning out our house so we can out it on the market. I just stumbled over the receipt for my Bernina 1260. She came to live with me 20 years ago TODAY! I bought another Bernina a few years ago but still use my 1260 fairly often. She has sewn every kind of fabric, made countless curtains and quilts, FMQed a lot of quilts, been ignored for months and even a year or two when I was too busy, and twenty years later, still quietly sews a beautiful seam. I've gotten every penny's worth and more from her. It was a huge expenditure for us at the time, but oh so worth it.

What a nice way to end the year! Congrats on having such a workhorse for a machine. Can't get better than that!

I feel that way about my Pfaff 1471bought in 1986. It has always done anything I asked it to, best machine I ever had.

That is an awesome story about your 20 yr old machine. Happy New year to you and everyone. The snow has disabled our dish TV so here I am with my Popcorn and QB.
