buckets and hugs for biting that bullet that got you a new machine. I am in so much quandry re: a serger. I can't afford much, and keep reading reviews, hopeing the right one will be a 5 star bargain. I have two other machines and gave away a 6 year old serger a few days ago to my grand daughter. It never worked for me. (A simplicity brand)

I am so happy for you with your new machine.

    Congrats congrats congrats!!!!

Yeah for you. I too just brought home a new Brother machine. I bought one a few months ago and it had some issues because it was a floor model. I took it back and traded it for a new high end embroidery/quilting model. I love it too but have much to learn. I am so happy for you too.

I heard that Juki sergers were really reliable. My neice ask the sewing repair man/owner of a sewing store which one was brought in the least and that is the one he recommended. Hope you find your bargin.

I am in much the same boat. Want a serger BAAAADD and can't afford the nice ones. Have been doing research and I think the best one for my money is the Brother serger lay- in thread machine that Walmart has for $192. Anyone have any experience with this machine?
