Accuquilt just had a sale a couple of weeks ago on their website. I looked hard and long at the Studio 2 but passed it up...it would surprise me if they had another big sale but if they did I may just have to cave in.

Those little dies sure are expensive and my one didn't last long at all.

The dies are made to last for years unless defective. Do you mean the mats? They do wear out and have to be replaced.

I am hoping EQ offers its EQ Stitch at a rock bottom price.

Reminder, look carefully at the ads. Many of the stores (Joanns included) will start the ad on wednesday. By going on wed you will miss out on the doorbusters, the parking problems and the long lines......aw, shucks! And, cyber monday not only often has the best sales, but you shop in your jammies.

I'm with you! I did the black Friday shopping once about 40 years ago before it was such a big deal, and said never again!

great advice! I like the idea of checking the fb page, too.

If I see anything about good accuquilt sales, or EQ sales, I'll post as soon as I can. Last year I remember someone sold the full sized, nonelectric accuquilt machine with about 10 different dies for about $300. Of course, that's my memory. The dies were all things that I would have used but last year I didn't have a disposable $300.

Have never done the Black Friday shopping and have no intentions. My last purchase would definitely be a case of BAiley's or vino!!

What frustrates me is that now many places open on Thanksgiving Day & offer their best sales on Thursday. I refuse to encourage that nonsense no matter how incredible the deals.

I so agree!! A couple of years we had to have dinner early so our daughter & her family could get to the Thursday evening sales, her husband & daughters is really into it also. I bite my tongue, at least they spent a couple of hours with us. Have to admit I do the online sales though, but can't cope with the lines & crowds in the stores, just too old & poor mobility.
