Good Morning, Good Morning, Good Morning!~ Got to my favorite store - that being Joann's - when it opened at 6:00 AM. To make a long story short, I bought $110.66 worth of goodies and paid $56.74 for it. I bought an end of bolt - (less than a yard at the end) - that bolt had one yard and 33 inches. Bought the yard for $1.00 off, plus the 33 inches for $1.00 off plus 50% more (for end of bolt), plus 20% off total sales. I always look for bolt ends now. Got some fat quarters and some thread. Also got some variegated thread to do the Quilts for Kids - add a little bit more color, don'tcha know!!!!!! I bought a lamp, and a walking foot! I am so proud of myself. Puts me in a whole new happy mood - cuz then I had to go grocery shopping and I was just a'skippin' through the store singing Christmas music - that happens the day after Thanksgiving.

So that is my Black Friday story!!!!!! Edie

Nancy, I was with you in the sewing. I finished a stocking, a mattress cover for the doll cradle and a doll quilt. Now have a landscape to finish and two more stockings. Want to get started on the tube quilting, and try the NY Beauties as well. More projects just seem to pop into my head everytime I start working on something!

I hear about these deals and think...next year I'll go. I never do though. I hate the crowds. Good job though!
