I have been collecting white on black & black on white fat quarters as I would like to do one the a red star in the sashing. A couple of months back someone posted one & it looked great. Does anyone know of a pattern that would be suitable - nothing to intricate because some of the fabric is very busy.

I saw a black white and red one a couple of months ago, someone posted it with pictures taken at a quilt show. I'm not sure if that's the one you're talking about, but I loved it enough to save the image. Let me see if I can find it for you

That one is a little too busy for me. The one I saw had black batik sashing with stars adjoining the blocks. That one is beautiful.
