Have any of you purchased/used this blade sharpener before? If so, does it work? It is from Connecting Threads. Thanks.

I'm going to keep watching this and see the answers you get. I'd be nice to have if it really works well.

Very expensive doo-hickey. I have a manual sharpener from Dritz that I paid around $15.00 for. I bought it at Hancocks several years ago.

I got the email that it was available. I ordered it for my guild. We go through a lot of blades when cutting for community quilts and this will be a quicker then the manual sharpeners. I'll give a review when I use it. I really like the Grace Tru Cut sharpener I have been using for me. I haven't changed blades in over a year! I put the date on the blade package. Remember always sharpen a sharp blade and it won't get dull. The blade is a goner if it gets a nick though.

No I haven't seen that. Would like to hear what everyone thinks of it. Kinda pricey!

That is a great tip and reminder about nicks in the blades

Sounds pricey at first but think about 5 60 mm blades and their cost! So wouldn't it save money in the long run? I would love to hear from you, Bella Boo, when your guild has evaluated it.
