    I just bought the silky binding from Wright and it is very wide, so I put a decorative stitch on it when I sewed it and it came out fine.

    I usually put the satin binding on with a decorative stitch; that way I sure I get both edges.

    that' what I do, I use a decorative stitch so that I catch both sides.
