I got my hair cut today. We must have talked about quilting last time, because the stylist asked me if I was still making blankets. I just smiled and said 'Yes, always"

Yeah, well, some adults still say they go "potty" too. LOL

My mom calls them blankets too but she does it just to mess with me.

Ok, I do that. One of the hazards of working with little kids. :-D

I had an old (ex) boyfriend that called it knitting, first out of ignorance, later to tease me, but he did respect the art. Remember when the tp brand Northern showed cartoon ladies knitting their "Quilted Northern" and both knitters and quilters petitioned them to correct it?

Too funny! My dad refers to my stash as rags. He doesn't mind the wall-hangings, table decorations and other stuff that I use the rags for. Someone told me once that there are people out there that just don't "get it". Be proud! At least your stylist didn't ask you if you were out now, on probation. :-( I never went back to see her, or that shop.

Hey! I still say that but I do have a little one still. My teenagers make fun of me when I say I gotta go potty. :-)
