    What would you wash them in? Just cold water or with laundry detergent?

    Do Not Wash That Quilt Top!!!
    I know what I am talking about, and here is the very sad proof: Threads all over back of flimsy after washing . That was a brutal learning curve, do yourself a favor and just learn from my mistake. Granted, it was much worse because it was a scrappy quilt, but argh, it was awful. Just sayin', lol.

    I won't wash the completed top, but rather some sample squares with writing on them and scraps of the fabrics I put in the top.
