I am in a virtual quilting bee and have been tasked with creating two 14" blocks using any method. The blocks are to a cake or other dessert on a cake pedistal. I would love to applique something on but don't know how. I am thinking paper piecing?? I won't be able to sew for about a month and once I am, will have a week to make the blocks ... :-( .... does anyone have any creative/easy ideas for these blocks? She gave me some beautiful Anna Maria Horner scraps and some Kona Snow white to work with.
