Good find on the Chunky Churn Dash. The original block shown just needs to be turned on point, then add the triangles to square it back up.
Edited to add: OOPS! I am wrong. The center stays straight and the triangles are added to make it an on point block.

Bonnie’s pattern actually has an hourglass block as an alternating block, so it just looks like it is set on point.
