Depending on who it's for, maybe a flower basket?

Something like the Creme Brulee quilt would be pretty, too.

    How about a log cabin?
Using one color in various shades for each block?
Think those colors should look good together.

Seems like an odd combination of colors. I'd check to see how well these colors do or don't go together before I start looking for a pattern. It maybe necessary to elliminate a couple of them, like the pink and brown. LOL Those without any idea about color combinations will just list a bunch of colors they like not realizimng they may not coordinate in a quilt. I wouldn't worry too much if you don't use all the colors.

I have a book with designs and it gives the number of fabrics needed. By D onna Poster. Here are the names of some that use 5 fabrics. Peace, Jacobs ladder with 4 squares stacked, starry path, picnic, royalty ( a variation of a star)farmers field, sizzling squares, vortex. Try "quilterscache.com" for some of these.

I just went to Quilters Cache and found the blocks are all in color so you can look at them and see how many colors are used. Many could use 5 colors if you change the center color or the corner squares. Have fun.

I think those colors will make a great quilt. I don't think it's the colors so much as the tones and shades of the colors that make them go together or not. One thing I love about florals is that so many colors go together so beautifully!

I'd look for a print that will pull your colors together and work from that. There are many ways to mix colors, and there have already been some wonderful suggestions. The D9P is my go to pattern, especially the Scattered D9P, for blending a lot of colors.
