If the darker blue was not that dark, it would blend in to the flowered fabric and you would not get the striped look of the other blocks. I think you chose well!( I bet once you saw this in the photo it looked better, didn't it?)

I also agree. I don't know why you are second guessing yourself. You have a light, a medium and a not very dark. Having those types of shades are usually good reference to a lovely quilt. It certainly looks like a nice simple patterns which are the kind I LOVE !! Thanks for asking this question!

I agree that if you chose a lighter blue I think it would be washed out - I like it and think you will to when it is complete! Nice job
