    I made a red/white Jacob's Ladder for my niece and it was smashing. I set it so the diagonals came together in the center.

    www.quilterscache.com has tons of examples using 2 colors. Check out the website - go to the "free block patterns" or whatever it's called. Have fun!!!

    I was just going to suggest that Ohio quilt. You can see exactly what it will look like and I think it's beautiful!!!!
