The Boxy Stars free quilt pattern on quiltsville.com is an easy pattern and looks good with 2 colors.

Lots of great ideas! You might want to take a look at this one too: http://www.quiltmaker.com/patterns/d...html?idx=13369

Although Storm at Sea is beautiful, I would be hesitant to present one for a wedding. For some, it may hold a negative connotation. Just my luck, someone in the family of the couple would be superstitious, make a big deal out of it, and cast gree-gree back at me. On the other hand, Wendy Mathson has an interesting display of how the blocks can be configured to make almost any design, including hearts, and renamed. It can be found in her book, A new Light on Storm at Sea Quilts, B&T Publishing. Beautiful quilts, just an inappropriate title for a new beginning.

Blue and white are my favorite quilt colors. Here are two of mine The Irish Chain and the other the strip quilt which the younger set seems more drawn to. I think you could make almost any quilt with just two colors and it would look great.

I'm working on one of those 10 minute blocks with different blues and white center then plan to put white around the outside .

Storm at Sea, works great in that colorway. But the other poster is right, might not be the best pattern choice for a wedding quilt!

What about a Wedding Ring, done with the rings being scrappy blues of various levels of the same blue tint (navy blue, royal blue, light blue, tone on tone blue, etc.) done on a white background?

Wow... loving the simplicity of the Irish Chain you did. Is that a batik blue fabric you used?

There are many different blue fabrics in it and I was pleased the way it turned out. Sometimes simple is simply pretty eh? I hand quilted a feather ring in the white areas.

Bear Paw, Hunter's Star, and Burgoyne all look good in white and blue.
