I already had the Wedge Ruler from the Christmas Table Runner so I had a great time making the Carrots, they turn out so cute. Love MQC Tutorials, you can really learn. Working on the 5" table runner today.

I can almost always find the info I am looking for here. But, I spend too much time playing on the board instead of quilting. Yesterday I finally figured out that the batteries in my camera are in upside down, so I should be able to post a couple of pics today. I have two quilts to finish that are on a timeline, so I HAVE to stay off here and get busy. I'll post pics when done. Glad you were able to find what you wanted here. Its a good guess that you always will, and if not. ASK, somebody will know what you need

I have my coffee every morning while reading the QB. Great way for me to start my day.

Someone asked me to post my 'bunch of carrots' from the tutorial by Jenny from MSQC. These were just soooo fun to make and lightning fast! I would make more but this was my only piece of orange in my entire stash, I had to resort to yellow with a touch of orange!! I will be visiting my LQS for a few more FQ's of orange to make more carrots!
I tied the bunch together at the bottom until I can locate the appropriate basket size and also something my cute kitty won't be chewing on! lol

I say.... we have a gathering at a Quilt show or quilt convention dedicated to the members of Quiltboard.com.
Des Moines has the Convention in early Oct.
AND Fons and Porter has their big 3 day warehouse sale with lots and lots very nice fabrics. $6/yd, 1/2 yd minimum.
And If you choose to venture to their store in Winterset it is an easy 45min. drive from DSM.
Anyway just saying....How fun to actually get to meet...!!
I am in no way affiliated with Fons and Porter other than as a customer.
    Food for thought...

This board is not only the best place to learn new things, find new resources, but it also a great way to use up a lot time browsing! (Whether I have something more important to do, or not.)
