bobbin case and other parts
I haven't had my APQS Freedom for long, but I love her dearly. I'm in the process of putting together a little toolbox of spare parts commonly needed, and I really like a good deal. APQS is wonderful, but on their site, a bobbin case style M is $45! I've checked on ebay, and there are a few there that don't say APQS, but the pic looks exactly the same, and it's also style M, for a LOT less money. I can't seem to find out if I can use it on my machine or not. Does anyone know anything about this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are lots of different class M bobbins. I went through the same thought process you are going through and ordered some on eBay. They weren't the same as mine, but the seller was very helpful and allowed me to return those and sent me detailed pictures showing the others that he had in stock. One of them fit and sewed well enough, but I have since decided to stick with the manufacturer's bobbin cases. As you point out, they are expensive, but they are machined more precisely.
