Hi Guys,

Can anybody tell me where in the UK I can buy the bobbin holders (I have seen red an blue) that look like a very large coloured polo mint?

They are called bobbin savers. Try and google them and you may come up with some in your neck of the woods...

I needed something to keep bobbins in as they have to be put away when I'm not sewing. I purchased a box of prewound bobbins at JoAnns, threw away all the bobbins in it (not good thread and they do not fit my machine) and now I have a box for my bobbins. Keep it closed with a rubber band. I think it cost a $1 or $2.

I use empty pill bottles. Neighbors thought I was a bit daft when I asked them for their empties. Until I find something else, they are doing the job for me. Marge
