My grandmother was pulled into the factories to be a seamstress in WW2 where she was taught to sew uniforms.
She taught me to pull the thread-tail firmly to the rim of the bobbin and tuck it in-between the rim and the thread.
It never unravels.
The end is always easy to find and untuck with a quick pull upward.

I bought some from Superior a couple years back. Can't get it to stick to anything. Maybe I'm not doing it right, but I tried and tried and tried and was never able to get it to work.

Well, the name is "Amazing". I guess they made a mistake! Thanks for the info.
I learn so much from this forum!! I tried the hint about pulling the thread next to the bobbin and into the thread. That works so good. And is so simple! Thanks everyone!

I use a bobbin boat, rubber like the rings, that is near my machine that I use for current projects
Then I have a bobbin box, it has a clear top, and poly foam inside that the bobbin sits in and it "grips" the thread and they do not unwind.
Very happy with both products. They work great for current projects and long term storage.
