Bolt of black fabric
Since I seem to use so much black fabric, I'm considering buy a bolt if I can find it reasonable. Has anyone done this and where would be my best place to go?

I buy all my Moda Bella solids from Green Fairy Quilts. I haven't purchased a full bolt (only yardage cuts), buooks like they have pricing by the bolt as well. Green Fairy Quilts Bella Solids

Best bet is to find the brand, color number and how much yardage comes on the bolt for the brand you like. Google it. I like Fabric.com and Fabrichut.com. I'm a Northcott Colorworks fan and they seem to have the "bolt". I have never found anyone who offers discounts on a bolt. But I can dream. I may have to give Marshall Dry Goods a try. That sounds like a perfect deal.

I did buy a bolt of black years ago, at Fabric Depot in Portland OR. When that was gone, I started buying Amish black in 3-yard packs from Keepsake Quilting. It runs around $6.66 per yard. It's important to me to have a true black, and that's hard to find, even harder if you're buying online. I've been very pleased with Amish black.
