I just finished reading the Cross Country Quilters...really enjoyed it. That may be a good one...its about a bunch of woman who some...met on the internet...others at the quilting retreat.

Both of the Elm Creek suggestions are good ones - Cross Country Quilters is great because it brings quilters together from all over. It is the third in the series. Union Quilt, coming out in Feb, is obviously the newest. It looks like it will be one of her historical novels, rather than with the contemporary Elm Creek gang.
There are so many quilt novels to choose from - lighthearted mysteries, historical novels, and novels that address topics of friendship, relationships and of course quilting.
I really like the novels by Marie Bostwick too. Her first is called "A Single Thread"
Both "Cross Country Quilters - Jennifer Chiaverini and
"A Single Thread" have reading guides.
Let's choose one of those for the first one. Both have been around long enough that a friend or the library might have it, in case you don't want to make a purchase. I have read both but I think I would like to do so again from the viewpoint of using the discussion questions and sharing with others.
I am going to go ahead and set up my diary today. I have decided to call it Quilt Novel Musings. If you are still interested, follow along and comment as you are moved to do so.
First off, please comment here on your choice of one of these 2 books and I'll see which one to do first.
Thanks to all who are interested. This is going to be FUN!!

I've never read Marie Bostwick - I don't think I've even heard of her.
