    Yes its called Taking the math out of quilting,it has a blue front,it has what to cut how many of each pieces to cut,also how much fabric you'll need I can't live without mine I have 2, Trust me it is the best you'll find!!!!

    There is also a small spiral bound book called Quilters Reference Guide. Has the answer to this and many other math questions as well as bed/quilt sizes, etc. Great little book. Under $10 I think and it's small enough to take along with you but large enough for 'mature' eyes to read. I find it an invaluable tool.

    This is what I would suggest. It is easy to understand and well written. I know it was on Amazon ... probably on other sites as well.

    Taking the Math out of Patchwork is also on Amazon. I just looked for it the other day.
