Can y'all recommend any good books or patterns for a twisted log cabin or other spiral design quilts? I am so intrigued by these designs and want to give them a try!

    Thanks!

I found a paper piecing/foundation piecing book that is called 101 log cabins. I found it really inspiring. I can't remember right this minute who it was by, but to me it is a really nice book. I've used mine for tons of blocks. Good luck :D

I saw an example of the first one at the LQS and have been trying to figure out what it was ever since (They were out of the book and template, and the clerk that I talked to wasn't familiar with it...) Thank you so much for posting this link; I've been looking for this one too!

There's a free twisted log cabin paper pieced block on http://www.QuiltersCache.com. I just did one.

Thanks, Bernie. Do you remember what the name of the block was? I tried to find it under "T" for twisted log cabin and "L" for log cabin, but didn't see it.

    Thanks!
